Postpartum what to expect and how to prepare for it

We’ve often heard people tell us to use an ice pack on acute injuries. From frozen peas to vaginal ice packs, there is no blanket rule on what to use.

At Gentlepak we’ve researched and tried them all. Frozen underwear, peas in pants, vaginal ice packs… we’ve gone through the messy, uncomfortable and embarrassing perineal pain treatments and alas decided to create a comfortable, sustainable, cold and hot perineal pack.

We wanted Gentlepak to offer hot therapy as well as cold because we found that pain relief reacts differently to hot and cold therapy. Sometimes, the cold can numb the pain but not provide any sustainable relief. On the other hand, a little heat on the same injury might improve the blood flow and provide great relief.

Our perineal packs are designed to ease the pain and swelling after childbirth, hair removal, hemorrhoids, IBS, labia plasticity discomfort. The packs come with super soft terry covers.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding Gentlepak or perineal pain.
